In the Nigerian Senate there are quite a number of senators who are considered as controversial nature and this is due to previous assignments/positions held. Among them include

1. She has been involved in numerous controversies ranging from highly inflated purchase of BMW bullet-proof cars without following due process as well as allegations that Stella Oduah-Ogiemwonyi purportedly lied that about she obtained an MBA degree from St Paul's College.

Recently, the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) raided his Lagos residence and attempted to abduct him for extradition to the United States.






3. A Nigerian senator has come under fire for marrying an Egyptian girl who is alleged to be 36 years his junior. Sani Ahmed Yerima, 49, is said to have paid $100,000 as dowry for the 13-year-old girl. But he has defended his decision as the prospect for facing prosecution looms, saying he followed the teaching of the prophet Mohammed.

Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli is on the brink of an Anfield exit with AC Milan confirming they are in talks over a season-long loan deal. Milan general manager Adriano Galliani confirmed that discussions are underway over the controversial striker, who is deemed surplus to requirement by Reds boss Brendan Rodgers after just one disappointing season. He told Italian TV channel Mediaset: "Certain loves come back, but we're going to have to wait a while yet before we can sing that about Balotelli.
